A educação a distância representa um novo e desafiante
paradigma para as organizações
de todos os tipos, desde empresas permanentemente interessadas na
reciclagem, treinamento e capacitação
de seus funcionários e estagiários, até institutos com vocação para
pesquisa,
desenvolvimento e inovação, que apresentam enorme potencial de
transmissão de conhecimentos
para o mercado educacional. Nesta apresentação, são apresentadas as
várias modalidades
de educação e treinamento a distância baseadas em tecnologias digitais,
tais como Web, videoconferência,
satélite, etc., e mostrará como a atual tendência de convergência
tecnológica
(TV, telefone, Internet, redes IP) impactará o crescimento da EaD no
Brasil e no mundo. As tecnologias são
apresentadas na forma de exemplos práticos e fáceis de entender,
baseadas na experiência de
10 anos do palestrante no desenvolvimento da EaD na UNICAMP e no Instituto Edumed.
Os participantes receberão senha para acesso a um site de
experimentação livre, disponível
na plataforma TelEduc de apoio ao ensino e aprendizagem on-line.
Possibilidades de projetos cooperativos com os
participantes interessados serão abertas e discutidas, inclusive dentro
do modelo de consórcio em
rede desenvolvido pelo Instituto Edumed.

Distance
education is a new and challenging paradigm for organizations of all
kinds, from companies constantly interested in recycling, training and
qualification of its employees and interns, to institutions with a
vocation for research, development and innovation, which have enormous
potential for the transmission of knowledge in the educational
market. In this presentation, we show the various forms of distance
education and training based on digital technologies such as Web, video
conferencing, satellite, etc.., We show also how the current trends of
technological convergence (TV, telephone, Internet, IP networks) will
impact the growth of distance education in Brazil and worldwide. The
technologies are presented as practical examples and easy to
understand, based in 10 years of the lecturer's experience in the
development of distance education at UNICAMP and the Edumed Institute.
Participants will receive a password to access the free trial site, available on the platform
TelEduc to support
online teaching
and learning. Possibilities of cooperative projects with interested
participants will be opened and discussed, including within the
consortium network model developed by the Institute Edumed.
